Democrats: The True Threat to Democracy

If nothing else, the democrats are monotonous.

They used the same old tired lines in order to attack their political enemies (i.e. Trump), even though their credibility is falling faster than American wages: "Trump is a racist." "Trump hates women." And their new favorite, "Trump is a threat to democracy."

Tim Walz, AKA Tampon Tim, made sure to bring this up during the Vice Presidential debate Tuesday night. "This was a threat to democracy in a way that we have not seen," the Minnesota governor said, speaking of the January 6 Capitol riots. "And it manifested itself because of Donald Trump's inability to say - he is still saying he didn't lose the election."

Kamala Harris has repeated this line many times, as have many (most) leftists in the media. On and on they go, repeating themselves like a bunch of parrots and arguing that if Donald Trump wins in November, democracy will cease to exist. I think its about time we set the record straight: that liberals are the true threat to democracy in America, not Trump and his conservative base.

As JD Vance pointed out during the debate, the ultimate test for the health of democracy in any country is how free the people are to speak their minds without fear of censorship or political repercussion. There's a reason why our Founding Fathers listed the freedom of speech as the second unalienable right in the Bill of Rights, immediately following the freedom of religion. Clearly, they felt it was important to the survival of our Republic.

Yet the democrat leadership doesn't believe in the free speech; as a matter of fact, they have openly embraced censorship, justifying their anti-constitutional policies by claiming they are "cracking down on hate speech" or "stamping out misinformation." How do they define misinformation, you might ask? Why, anything they happen to disagree with. How convenient.

Just a couple months ago, it was reported that Facebook was repeatedly pressured by the Biden administration to censor certain posts related to COVID-19.

From Breitbart:

In a letter to Rep. Jim Jordan, the Republican chair of the House Judiciary Committee, Zuckerberg alleges that the officials, including those from the White House, “repeatedly pressured” Facebook for months to take down “certain COVID-19 content including humor and satire.”

Let me just add that it wasn't only humor and satire; it was virtually any post that dared question the so-called "science" behind mask mandates and vaccine requirements. Engaging in open and honest debate on Facebook (and most other social sites) throughout the pandemic was nearly impossible, and it was because of Biden's radical embrace of political censorship.

In that same letter, Zuckerberg also revealed that Facebook censored posts related to the Hunter Biden laptop story after Biden's FBI "warned" of a "potential Russian disinformation operation." As we all know, this was far from "Russian disinformation." This was a legitimate story that was concerning to millions of American voters, yet the left campaigned to suppress it and censor those who dared to discuss it.

Virtually the same exact thing happened following the 2020 election. Questioning the results of the election, or even suggesting that our electoral system isn't quite as bulletproof as it needs to be, was grounds for censorship. I remember at the time trying to post highlights from my radio show on YouTube, discussing all of the questionable (at best) things that occurred in that election. Those videos were taken down almost immediately.

Clearly, we have a censorship problem in America, and it's been led by the progressive left. Open and honest debate is being shutdown at an alarming rate, and it's because the democrats have learned that its easier to silence political opposition than it is to defeat them fairly at the ballot box.

Who are the true threats to democracy in America? It's not Donald Trump. It's not conservatives. It's Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and the Democrat Party.

I discussed this topic and much more in my latest podcast. Listen here:
